Writing Reflection
I learnt all about Zealandia and then put it into an imaginative piece of writing.
We put the native birds and reptiles into our stories which connected together to form an amazing piece of writing.
I found it easy to write about the surroundings of the birds and reptiles. It was easy to create a picture in the readers head which made them other love it or think it was hilarious.
I found it hard to come up with ideas to put into my imaginative piece of writing. It was hard to think about a hook in my writing that would catch the reader's attention and make them want to read more.
I really enjoyed being able to write about Zealandia and the native birds and reptiles of New Zealand. I enjoyed the laughter that my story had made for everyone who reads it. I was so proud of myself for completing the task of creating a piece of writing.
Next time I’d like to work on collaborating with another person for ideas for my writing. I’d like to work on putting more detail in my writing to make it more descriptive writing.
